Dexcom read my message i sent them and i guess took for granted it was the sensor so they are sending me a replacement, Make sure skin is clean and dry, and choose a good spot without too much movement, I have confirmed extremely low bg readings if i lay on my sensor arm. I have had many issues with these sensors dropped readings, sensor errors, bad readings. Should i just resign myself to ignoring it on the first day and dealing with constant false low alarms, I definitely cannot dose insulin off of the dexcom. Anyone here using a dexcom g6 and have very inaccurate readings. new member, thought id add my 2 cents on the dexcom g7 sensor, Dexcoms site last night and saw that it can apparently be inaccurate for the first 24 hours nice of them to not ever mention that in the training materials but is it always that inaccurate. The only g7 sensor placement for adults given by dexcom is on the backside of the upper arm.
